The $1 Premiership Cup coin was presented to the presidents of the two Grand Final teams on September 26, 2012, by AFL CEO, Andrew Demetriou and the CEO of the Royal Australian Mint, Ross MacDiarmid for the toss to determine the home and away teams. The coin was be used at the official coin toss before the bounce for this Saturday's 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
