1981 5 cents coins were produced at the Canberra Mint, Llantrisant, and at the Winnipeg Mint (Canada). No distinctive mintmark can be found on coins from Llantrisant, but coins from Winnipeg have wavy hair curls at the back of the Queen's neck. It's easier to identify them on mint state coins.
