1922 DDR Threepence

Post by richfo3 » Mon Nov 13, 2023 10:56 am

Hi guys I wonder if anyone knows what values are attributed to doubled die coins. I have a 1922 Silver threepence with a very strong doubled die reverse . I have searched high and low but have never found any information at all. T.I.A :D

Not just if we can call this a DDR. Not in Renniks Pre-Decimal Coin Varieties catalogue.

Here's one similar to yours

Yes that's pretty much the same. I have Renniks catalogue and I have searched every single place I can think of. I have emailed many of the collecting groups sadly none replied back. I am happy to know that there is more than just the one I have and I guess you need 2 to have a bonified variety. i'll probably submit it at some stage then at least it will be verified thanks for the reply :D
