On May 5, 2022, Heritage Auctions sold a NGC PR-65+ Ultra Cameo example for $327,600. It was previously part of the Quartermaster Collection and sold in 2009 (uncertified) for $294,400. A NGC PR-62 Ultra cameo sold in November 2020 for $194,290.
Gold Sovereign 1856 - Circulation issue
On January 5, 2015, a MS-61 NGC example sold for $52,687. An uncertified one sold for $131,875 in June 2009.
