Ten shillings 1939 to 1954 - Price guide and values

Introduced following the death of King George V, the design of the King George VI ten shilling note remained unchanged throughout his reign, with only the signatories being modified. The first signature combination - Sheehan/McFarlane - was printed in orange, while the remaining combinations until 1954 were printed in black.

Approximately 451,528,000 ten shilling notes were produced between 1939 and 1954 when new Matthew Flinders notes were introduced.
